There were almost 22% more real estate transactions made in January 2021 compared to January 2020.

Overall Charleston area homes median sales price was up 10% compared to January 2020.

Some specific areas that saw a significant increase in median sales prices:

  • Folly Beach to Battery Island – $890,000 median sales price which is a nearly 50% increase compared to January 2020
  • Johns Island – $377,150 median sales price, an 18% increase compared to January 2020
  • North Charleston (inside of I-526) – $267,572 median sales price, an almost 39% increase compared to January 2020
